Rainbow Wishes—Art Jam

A Blank White Canvas, A World of Possibilities!

Led by Hong Kong community arts worker Evelyna Liang Kan, “Rainbow Wishes — Art Jam” was held at the Huayuan Neighborhood of Huayang community, Changning District, on 23/11/2008. 60 energetic kids from different schools, including urban migrant schools, painted their simple wishes on a 25 meter canvas. Ms Ma Jinmei, Deputy Director of Changning District Culture Bureau, also picked up her brush and participated in the community art creation process.

The Shanghai visit of Evelyna Liang Kan is supported by Home Affairs Bureau (Arts Development Fund), The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
