“Fringe Shanghai” presented a series of workshops, talks, a symposium as well as performances and visual arts activities in its “Community Arts in Focus” programs taking place between 12 November and 7 December 2008. Through its long-term and systematic outreach programs, “Fringe Shanghai” hopes to bring artists closer to the community and encourage the public to truly participate in the arts.
