Mask Drama by All Theater Art Association

Mask Theater Workshop
|
Masks are among the first artistic forms of expression dating back to ancient tribal cultures and traditional art forms from around the world. In the hands of actors, masks can become sacred tools that have the power to connect with primal energy and spiritual wisdom. Masks allow those who are interested in performance to quickly embrace new characters and to become uninhibited, enabling performers to freely express their emotions. Students’ interests will be aroused and their comprehension of theatre through masks will be deepened. |

They were encouraged to create plays using their own stories, to rehearse them with professional actors, and to learn to combine acting with theatrical elements such as movement, voice, masks, props and costumes to allow richer artistic expression. At the end of the workshop, participants gave a presentation of their own plays. About 60 participants attended this workshop.
