“Fringe Shanghai” has presented, between early October and mid November 2007, a program called “Equal ARTpportunities”, a series of art exhibitions, shows and workshops by and about Special Artists. This very special program aimed at both enhancing dis-ability awareness through participatory artistic activities, and advocating an inclusive society and equal opportunities for persons with disabilities.

Creative Workshop

Guided by a visually impaired artist from Hong Kong, participants engaged in games and exercises of sound communication.
Visual Communication Workshop
Facilitated by a hearing impaired artist, this Workshop helped participants discover how to communicate with the world solely through the sense of sight.
